Work        /        About

Ail Hwang
Ail Hwang, who works between Korea and Germany, reinterprets everyday spaces, objects, and relationships to explore the layered meanings embedded in them. Primarily through installation works that use fluid materials and existing objects, she reveals layered qualities and the potential for transformation that transcends fixed interpretations. These works interact with the conditions of the exhibition space and unfold in relation to their surrounding environment. They originate from the dissonant elements within architectural, urban and sculptural contexts—elements that, though often concealed, structure our everyday lives. Through this process, moments emerge where temporal and spatial conditions intersect with individual and collective contexts, giving rise to new relationships.
